Female Entrepreneurs Join Lion’s Den Finalists

Following the success of the DFC 2023 Female Food Entrepreneurs talk, we have invited two great female speakers to speak at our event this year.  The great news is they will be joined by The Lion’s Den 2024 food finalists. 

Our Speakers

• Santina Kennedy is a pioneer within the food and drink sector.  She is an Ambassador for Wicklow Naturally, Wicklow’s food and drink network. She is a regular contributor to media, and she has been featured on RTE, BBC World Travel and ITV.  Her work has also featured in Forbes Magazine.  She has spent the last number of years working with Powerscourt Distillery and is now working as an independent consultant
• Laura McCarthy from Drink Botanicals has been making her mark on the Dublin food scene over the last 12 months.  She has been awarded winner of the Dublin City Enterprise Award 2024.  Having founded her business at 20 years of age, Laura’s range is now available in the UK, US and the UAE.  She will share her journey.

Lion’s Den Competition

Joining Laura and Santina will be the five finalists competing for the €6000 prize package for the 2024 Start Up Food and Beverage producer.  - Flavourito’s, Garnacha, Goats,Treats by Sylvia, and Rua.
