The Grow with Aldi team presented to over 50 producers at this in person event.  The team from Aldi included Laura Harper Buying Director, Michelle Allen Grow with Aldi lead.  Dublin producer Ciaran Fitzpatrick from Cookie Dó shared his Grow with Aldi journey experiences. 

Key Learnings from Aldi

• The 2023 programme will see approximately 25 producers been given an opportunity to sell their product in store.
• The instore event will run over one week. From this event between 3 and 5 producers will be selected, based on their product sales and given a contract to supply for either six months or twelve months. 
• Aldi will provide outer display boxes; producers will participate in workshops with the Aldi buying team and will receive support from Bord Bia. 
• It is possible that other producers might be asked to supply product at seasonal intervals throughout the year

• Be accurate with your costings.
• Understand the complex logistics involved with palleting and transporting large quantities.
• Make use of your national reach to engage with customers via social media.
