This workshop will bring together three high level speakers from the food sector on the topic of innovation.

The presentation will give an introduction to HPP Technology and the many benefits that it offers to the Irish Food Industry which include enhanced food safety ,extended shelf life and the potential to manufacture a wide range of clean label preservative free food products .
Examples of HPP products currently on sale in the marketplace will also be reviewed.

Since 2010 Carol has worked as part of the Food Industry Development Department to support food businesses through consultancy and advice in the areas of sensory analysis, product development, innovation, food safety, labelling and technical process development. At Teagasc, Innovation is considered to be essential to the long-term survival and profitability of food and drink companies in the current highly competitive environment. Carol will discuss the work being done by Teagasc in this space and all supports available to new food businesses.

A unique venue for this Dublin Food Chain event, The Open Gate Brewery is the home of brewing experimentation and innovation at St. James's Gate where Guinness brewers are given license to explore new recipes, reinterpret old ones and experiment freely to bring exciting new beers to life. 
 
Free parking is just minutes away on Crane Street and is offered on a first come, first serve basis. Please note parking on Market Street is reserved for coaches.
